Good Neighbor Center
The Project
Good Neighbor Center is a non-profit that provides shelter and resources to families experiencing housing insecurity. We’ve produced a series of video content telling the story of families that have benefitted from Good Neighbor Center’s services, aiming to raise awareness and inspire donations.
- We first collaborated with Good Neighbor Center in 2023 to produce a video about the organization, featuring interviews with staff, families, and community members who engage with their programs.
- In 2024, we produced two additional videos: an organizational overview highlighting GNC’s impact on the community over the past year and a heartfelt donation appeal. The second video tells the inspiring story of a family who, through GNC’s programs, achieved stable housing.
Our Approach
We produced an organizational overview video and a series of additional shorter cut downs to use for varying purposes, including a fundraising event. The main video gives an overview of the organization through a coordinated narrative of stories of residents and some key organization staff.
Our project priorities included:
- Respectfully and authentically tell the stories of featured families and individuals
- Highlight Good Neighbor Center’s mission and vision
- Encourage donations from the community
We created these videos through coordinated interviews at Good Neighbor Center, on-location filming with participants and custom-branded graphics.
