Erin Hanson

The Project
Known as the creator of “Open Impressionism,” painter Erin Hanson approached us to create informative and promotional content for her 3D textured replicas. We produced a 6 minute video that outlines Erin’s process as a painter and the care and detail she puts into her textured replicas .

Our Approach
Much like Erin’s art, attention to detail played a key factor in our process. We began the project with first meeting Erin and learning about Open Impressionism. We talked to Erin about her background, inspiration for painting and what makes her artwork unique.
In just one day of filming, we were able to gather enough footage to create three variations of updated promotional videos, each with a specific target audience. We produced one video for prospective print buyers, giving a fuller story of the technology, care and craft that goes into the process; we edited another video to use for press release; lastly, another version was created to share about Erin as an artist and her unique painting style.
Along with these videos, we also delivered 30-second promotional videos optimized for social media and online ads, over 20 edited photos and five GIFs of the art scanning technology.

The Result
“They were always very responsive and tracked with a pretty extensive list of needs and details.”
It was wonderful working with Erik and Saleh. We needed a video for a new product launch that we were still working through messaging and such. It was very collaborative and they really helped weed out the messaging and visuals to make an amazing video. They also took the initiative afterwards to help us with tips to get the video broadly released. They were always very responsive and tracked with a pretty extensive list of needs and details. Definitely recommend.
