Wallace
The Project
Over 40 years ago, Dr. James Reuler founded The Wallace Medical Concern to provide essential medical care to uninsured, homeless, and low-income residents in downtown Portland. What began as a small volunteer effort has grown into a full-service medical, dental, and behavioral health clinic serving East Multnomah County.
Wallace also offers on-site primary care at Gresham High School and Sam Barlow High School, using a youth-centered approach to support the unique physical and mental health needs of students. With a multicultural staff and a commitment to equitable care, Wallace partners with patients to improve health outcomes and uphold its founding belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality care.
- For our first project with Wallace in 2023 we produced a co-branding style guide, social media templates, designs for informational materials and a bus wrap to amplify their presence in the Gresham Barlow School district. Through engaging brochures, posters, and flyers, we provided valuable health resources and information to students, parents, and faculty.
- In 2024 we produced a short documentary celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Wallace’s work in the community through thoughtful interviews, archival content, and coordinated b-roll at multiple locations including their Rockwood Medical Clinic.

Our Approach
We started by creating a co-branding guide, carefully combining both organizations exiting brand guidelines to establish distinguished colors, fonts, and graphics. Our team then took a design created by Gresham High School Students Wallace’s new mobile bus clinic, prepped the design to be produced into a wrap, and then translated that design across all visual marketing material. We additionally produced Spanish and Russian versions of each item with provided translations.

Flyer
We produced templates and a number of flyer designs for the announcement of the health clinic, as well as specific services such as athletics physicals. Preparing these flyers required the consideration of how these materials would be printed, what information needed to be communicated, and the confirmation of the clinic’s hours and services as they were being solidified.

Informational Poster
Beginning with gathering details about their programs and services. Through collaborative discussions on language and vital information, ultimately resulting in visually compelling posters that effectively communicate information, resonate with their target audiences, and incorporate the student’s design elements.
Bus Wrap
After receiving the students’ design, our team carefully assesses its compatibility for a bus wrap, taking into account dimensions, resolution, and visual impact. We meticulously prepared the design files to meet printing and installation specifications to transform the design into a captivating and durable bus wrap that engages audiences on the move.

The Result
“Cannot say enough good things about the Bridge City Media team. Creative? Check. Responsive? Check. Professional? Check.”
“I’ve witnessed first-hand Erik and his team’s ability to grasp communication objectives and find creative solutions to achieve those objectives. More importantly, BCM’s values of honesty, kindness and “no frills” aligns with those of my own firm’s. Finally, BCM is a triple bottom line company certified not only by Benefit Corporations for Good but by B Lab as well.
