VIDEO PROJECTS
Portland Street Medicine

The Project
Portland Street Medicine is a coalition of volunteer medical providers, social workers, care coordinators, and concerned neighbors dedicated to reaching Portland’s unhoused community members. Their clinic operates in the streets, delivering high-quality, reliable care and building trust through empathy and relationships. Their mission is to improve the health and well-being of individuals living outside by meeting them where they are and providing immediate acute care and essential primary care.
On a one day shoot we captured interviews with some of their coalition members, along with a community housing project they serve to produce a 3-minute video for their organization. We additionally captured photos and produced three cutdown versions of the main video, optimized for social media platforms and fundraising missions.

Our Approach
Using original footage, provided photos, and motion graphics, we created a video for Portland Street Medicine to introduce the work they’ve been doing and highlight the rebranding of their Community Health Education Program. We worked with their coalition to develope a script that outlined their efforts and combined that with interviews with their members to tell the story of their work.
We used a two angle interview setup with our main subjects and worked carefully with Portland Street Medicine’s coalition to balance respecting the space of the shelter and it’s community we visited that day, as well as the messaging around their work.

The Result
They look great! Oh my gosh, we did it! Thank you for being so responsive and making this easy for us on your end : )
